Aluminum

It's tough to say goodbye when Lake Placid has made me look like a pro photographer. But, no regrets. Time to move on. It'll probably be a two or three day hiatus before the next post (I know...so long...HA) but look for some pictures from the new hometown!

Historical Reference: When pure aluminum was first produced, it was considered a noble metal alongside gold and silver. It was so "fancy" that Napoleon III served his most important guests on aluminum plates. "Ordinary" guests suffered through having to eat on gold. (Next time I have a fancy dinner party, I'm breaking out the aluminum foil ;) )

Fun Fact: Consumers and industry in the United States throw away enough aluminum to rebuild the entire fleet of American commercial airplanes EVERY 3 months. Learn from this and RECYCLE!
